What is your opinion on AC Models?

Hi guys I have a little question.
What is you opinion on the 1:16 / 120mm figure range of ac models in following points:
- Price
- Cast Quality
- Sculpt Quality

If I may I can't comment on full figures but with busts :

Work has been needed to clean things up ..more than normal , fit isn't the best at times and filling with putty needed

Sculpting ...Andy has his distinctive style , some say a little rough but all pieces are full of character IMO

Subject matter are good and with mot being a campaign piece

Price ...fairly high possibly due to being located and shipped from NZ

Andy is working hard on any issues which have been highlighted previously but with a bit of work you will get a very nice result

Price: not sure, but what Nap said - ships from New Zealand and the scupltor does original pieces as far as I know just by himself - IMHO fair enough
Cast Quality: Better than other producers that I have seen - no distortion of moulds - no hard to remove flash and hairlines in awkward places - in general: not high end but sufficient
Sculpt Quality: Rough sculpting style without final cleanup of the surface of the sculpt we are today accustomed to from other sculptors - depending on the standards of the collector reworking and detailing of parts is necessary - maybe replacement of too dog-faced heads has to be considered
Artistic value and wow-factor: Expression, drama and unusual subjects depicting front line soldiers - IMHO good basic anatomy and creative presentation of themes - can be turned into spectacular pieces by skilled modellers
Honest presentation of kits: Excellent - the pictures of new releases show exactly what you have to expect if you decide to buy and build one kit of the AC-Models-line

Hi Nap & Martin!
No doubt he is hand sculpting it which I really respect. And also his unusal scenes are very nice.
But a litte after work would be nice in case of smouthness etc. In the case of the 120mm DAK Panzer 1 Crew Im disapointed.
For the price of over 200€ (4 figure set) the quality should be better.
For a direct comparison I also recieved a order from reedes which was A+++ in quality, cast and packaging.
