Hello all,

I think I've been given some bum info re: the current value of the Poste Militaire MFL/1 Mtd. Trooper, 2nd Rgt. of Lancers.

It's boxed as it was when I bought it new from Red Lancers quite a while back, and still has the $179.00 price tag on it. Someone told me the current value was $250 so that is how I chose to price it in my ad. However, I just got another opinion that it shoud be listed at $125.00. Confusion reigns.

Any suggestions? I'd just like to sell the stuff at prices that will be fair to both parties.

Many thanks,
Michael

If you list it for $125 you are giving it away. Just look at the prices of current 90mm mounted pieces......$250 is a fair price.

Hello Michael,

Originals of this kit sell in the UK at £120-Bonapartes do a re-cast at around £110 but many prefer to buy the original Ray Lamb castings where possible, personally I don't see there is much difference. Hope that helps with the price...I would pitch it around $200.

Keith

Ok, thanks gents...your feedback is very much appreciated. I really looked at as many sites as I could to try and determine fair prices for the pieces. Let's just see how it all plays out.

Cheers from NYC,
Michael

Put it on ebay, that will determine the proper value for you :) Nothing like the market to tell you how much someone is willing to pay for a certain product.

HI Michael,

I agree with Anders but would suggest that you put a reserve, or even list it as a "buy it now" I sold mine that way in 24 hours................Ebay can be very hit and miss and don't forget they take 10% plus listing fees. Another suggestion is to wait for a free listing weekend-this happens to be one now....................Keith

OK, thank you to Anders and Keith.....I will proceed as suggested.
(Damn...now I really want to hang on to it in case I do decide to paint it someday.)

Cheers from NYC,
Michael
