If you're making a hobbit project for your grand daughter there are a couple other figures you might be interested in. Enigma miniatures makes two hobbits in 54mm scale (same as this guy). Yarry and his wife, Kendra

There's also Olfo Fastfeet from Andrea Miniatures, but I think the Engima ones (especially Kendra) would be great for a hobbit house diorama.

How big is this figure? The scale on the website says 54 mm, so does that mean the kit is approximately 25mm tall or is the kit actually 54 mm high?

I'm guessing about 30mm. I've got the 1/35 hobbit from Andrea and that's how big he is.
