Hello Taesung,
It was nice to meet you in Boston. Keep up the great work!
This figure was sculpted by a Chinese fellow from Hong Kong or Taiwan (I forget which, it was many years ago). I think The original piece (this figure is a casting, not painted by the original sculptor) won Best of Show at SCAHMS several years back. Sorry, I do not remember the sculptor's name. However I do know that he spent well over a year working on the sculpture alone. The webbing gear and pouches actually have fabric texture that was added with paper! It is indeed a masterpiece by a very fussy/perfectionist sculptor.

It was very nice meeting you, too. Hope you had a good time
in Boston. For me, it was the best show ever.
Looking at the pieces from you and other artists at the show,
it put me back to my table and work harder. Thanks for sharing
your work at the show.
I just found out that the figure was sculpted by H. C. Lau and
cast by P&J Designs.
