Hi folks,

I'm in need of some accessories, helmets mostly, in 120mm. I'm aware of the Warrior sets, but was wondering if anyone cast just helmets without the heads, and of course canteens, e-tools, and weapons.

I've done some converting, and now it's onto sculpting my own figures, but I draw the line at trying to sculpt the little stuff.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jeff

Jeff, I just PM'd you re; a helmet. As far as the other items, The Lost Battalion sells some of the items you're asking about singly. If you ever get into ACW stuff, Michael Roberts Ltd. sells some pieces parts in 120. Dig around in the links section and you'll find both.

Thanks John...I'm basically a WW2 era modeler, but once in awhile I deviate from the norm and I'll do Napoleonic or Native American. I've been wanting to do some ACW, especially some Zuaves, but just haven't had the time.

What I've found, is that the vast majority of 120mm figures are German...with very little in the way of US or British...makes you wonder who won the war!! ;-) Admittedly, there's alot more color and patterns in Wehrmacht and Heer equipment than in US stuff, but I'm partial to the good 'ole HBTs, wools, and khakis.

I've just finished a couple of German figures, a Tamiya winter soldier and a Verlinden Assault Gun Officer. Figured I'd experiment with these MFCA closeout specials before I started diving into the S&T and Michael Roberts stuff.

Thanks again,

Jeff

Jeff,
Drop me an email with your address. I've got a few laying around here collecting dust.

Pete, email sent, thanks!!

Figure Mad, I've been looking for the Verlinden US weapons sets, but they appear to be out of production, so I've been keeping a close eye on the 'bay trying to see if a set comes up for auction. I have surplus German gear, enough for a squad at this point, but not much in the way of US, which is where my interests lie.

Thanks everyone!

Jeff

Like Dave mentioned Verlinden,i remember a set of 120mm weapons and gear for their 120mm jeep and they had a helmet in the set as well. HTH
