WIP JMD Scottish infantryman

Dear Planeteers,

An update on my progress with this cracking figure, had some probs with the glenagarry , stripped the head and tried again twice so far, am getting happier with it though, got a new camera too !!!
Used Vallejo acrylics and oils, with VP photo etched barbed wire (ouch)
I may add the 51st Highland div patch but i am not sure if that would be accurate, he is supposed to be a Gordon Highlander, still need to finish him off, lots of challenges on this one, Kilt, hoze tops and the dicing on the glengarry

Have just ordered andrea miniatures trench warfare vignette (german storm troopers in Gas Masks) has anyone got any experience of this piece? will be my biggest project to date.

Starting to really like the ww1 era for subjects, this is my second JMD figure and they are excellent fun and really well produced.

Anyway feedback and advice welcome

Good job Kirky. I really like the mood of the whole piece, the figure has a real look of grim determination as he advances. Very dramatic indeed.
