I know that this is not an original thread, but I haven't seen it in awhile, so, I wanted to give us figure buyers/painters et al. an opportunity to list those figures we would like to see from the plethora of talented sculptors/manufacturers who frequent this site. To start things off, here is my list:

1. 17th Lancer 1879 Zulu War
2. Household cavalry officer/trooper Tel-el-Kebir, i.e,. "Moonlight Charge"
3. WWI figure(s)/bust(s) of soldiers in Palestine or Mesopotamia
4. Grenadier de Cheval at Waterloo 1815--in hodgepodge uniform they had to hurredly put together
5. Portrait figures/busts: Maharbal (Hannibal's commander of Numidian cavalry); Garnet Wolsley
6. Figure of Burma Frontier Field Force (maybe even Arthur Sandeman) in WW2 at Toungoo
7. More representations of literary characters as well as Game of Thrones personalities.

Thanks for reading. If you're interested, have at it.

Given 2015 is the 200th anniversary of Waterloo and the centenary of many great (and terrible) battles from WW1, and also the 80th anniversary of the end of WW2 and the 40th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War, I'd don't think there's any shortage of inspiring subjects that could be produced just from those subjects alone.

For me I'd like to see Knight Miniature actually complete its Lord of the Rings series by providing the Hobbits and Gimli.

More large scale busts. Perhaps we could persuade Carl Reid to get off his arse and do some sculpting. His output has been pretty slack so far in 2015 :p
