Thanks Gordy,
It is a 54mm Pegaso, with exceptional detail, actual eye detail, that I hope I can do justice to. Am working on the shield now and have taken pics from this point on. Will post later with a possible review. I also have another figure I would like to do a review on that would be considered a "Buyer Beware" review. Especially for a new person to the hobby. More later........off to work

Guy

The figure is basically finished and I will put it asside until the other 2 Celts are done. I will do a vignette with the 3 Pegaso Celts. The base for the vignette will be 15" tall from the bottom of the base to the top of the Celtic Chieftan. But will keep the photo's of it until the vignette is done and let you wonder. The cliffs are done on the base and I am working on the trees.

Thanks Simon,
The sheild was done using a stippling technique with an old "wild haired" brush. The kind of brush you would normally throw out. It was done with a Humbrol creme over German Mauve color. Tou do the stippling before the band or center metal is done. I will do a pictire "how to" in the next few weeks showing this process step by step.

I've got loads of those!! I normally only use them to blend oils on large areas though!
I'll eagerly await the how to then! (y)

The celt is in its final stages of being fastened to the base with 70% of the groundwork done. I will drybrush the short grass and add taller grass. The final step is to add the sheild with the left hand later today.

Thanks Keith,
Last year when I got back into painting 54mm subjects I was very pleased to find the detail extrodinary and have been pleased with Pegaso, Andrea, Elite etc. They have been an enjoyment to paint and alot easier on the walet too. ;) Here is the finished shot of the Celtic Warrior from Pegaso

Beautifull work Guy!!! really espectacular , the colors and tones give it a lot of "life" to the figure, i like specially the terrain, again Guy congratulations (y)

Let us see more pictures
