Could any body recomend suitable paints for the uniforms on a British WW1 western front model? I usualy use acrylics but I'm open to any suggestions in any medium. Thanks in advance.

Thanks both. Looks like my local model shop is going to get some more of my cash(y) By the way, I'm really looking forward to the arrivale of of my Figure from your range, it's going to be my first seious attempt at figure painting.

I used Vallejo's English Uniform with a dash of Khaki.

For me, the English Uniform, straight from the bottle, was a little too Brown.

Thanks for that pte, time to try all those different ideas, surely one of the great things about the hobby

Remember that WW1 uniforms were khaki drill (brown), not khaki drab (green) and that webbing was often 'blancoed', giving it a greenish hue.

Good luck,

Mike
