Hey Guys,

Here is another figure that I have painted. It is the Andrea Wyatt Earp. He was painted in acrylics except for the flesh, oils.

Joe

WOW........Joe....you did an excellent job with him....love the flesh tones and also how you have done the blacks. (y)

Thanks.

Bob I like the idea that you had with the two figures. I have toyed with the idea of Doc, but that will have to wait for awhile.

Daniel,
I used warmer tones with the blacks this time, except for the coat. I wanted some contrast. The coat is pretty much Vallejo black and German grey. The vest and the pants are black and burnt umber and black with beige brown.

Guy,

Thanks on the flesh tones. I tried something a little different with him. After the oils were cooked, I went back and added higher highlights with acrylics.

Joe

Joe I like it. You mentioned the colours for the blacks but not what you used for highlights.

That was a nice rendition, Joe!
Its a lovely figure with the svirling coat. Heres how mine turned out, not as good as Joes, but I like it anyway.

Hi Joe,

superb painting!!! I like the smooth and warm feeling of the black, something I'm struggling with myself at the moment.

Keep up the excellent work,

Gino

Hey Kreston,

Thanks. I appreciate the kind words.

Uruk-Hai,

I like the rendition that you did. I like the brown vest a lot. It breaks up al the black.
Stephen,

For the highlights, I just went up in the base color of the browns and the greys. I try to keep the mixtures pretty simple so that I can go back and correct it if I need to without so much mixing.
Joe
