This one is new for April from Romeo. It's a 75mm Highlander and is definitely on my list to buy.
Maurizio Bruno sculpted this, i don't know who painted the boxart, but it looks like Danilo Cartacci paint it.

Curses.... just when I thought I'd been weaned of 75mm Romans.
Gives a nice counterpoint to Pegasos celt (lepantic) Standard Bearer from last year.

The Piper is just my cup of tea, and I love it! As a player of the Great Highland Bagpipe myself, I can confirm that this is one of the precious few figures that depicts the finger positioning on the chanter correctly too. Looks like he is playing a High F. Brilliant!

Thanks Tommi,
Now, its time to look for another job. One where i can earn more money and get more free time...Maybe president of a bank for two weeks will do, then i get all those bonus for buying figures and enough time to paint.

Hi Marc

Yep I know what you mean, the problem is that there is just so much nice stuff coming out every month and it just gets better and better all the time, I just can’t help myself buying all the new releases, whether I get round to painting all of them is doubtful but it’s nice to have the choice. An inventory over the last two weeks shows my grey army at a value of nearly £20,000 sterling and growing by the month, guess the wife will put it all on ebay one day.
Cheers

Tommi,thanks for that preview.
God knows there's no lack of Roman signifer figures in this world but I reckon that one's one of the best I've seen.
And in 75mm ~ great! Can you tell us who sculpted this one?

Hi Mark

It seems like it was sculpted by Victor Konnov

Wow.. nice!!! I really try not to look what is comming out as my grey army is large enough LOL

Oh my goodness .. I ain't that keen on Romans but this one is stunning.. hard to paint it close to that level though.. well I can dream ;-)

The Signifer is the best i have ever seen !! I have to add to my large grey army ... how i can do with my woman ..? My other hobby is flyfishing and i have to buy a reel for salmon fishing ... and it is very expensive.. i thing i am risking the divorce ....:(

Has anyone seen a release date for these? I've checked the Romeo models home page and didn't notice any announcement regarding these figures. Perhaps I am too impatient, but I have already cleared a space in my display cabinet for that highlander.

I know that the Highlander is for April. The Roman i don't know. Maybe Tommi jumps in.
