This is another old cabinet lurker that I've stripped down and re-painted (except for the helmet and gun, which I couldn't face redoing).

I wanted to try and make him look cold so I used a lot of magenta and white on the flesh. The clothing was painted with a variety of Vallejo greens; German Uniform, Russian Uniform, Reflective Green, Deep Green and Medium Camo Olive.

He also seemed to be crying out for a cigarette this time around.

Peter, Great job on the Young Bust!(y) You really put some time and effort and skill into this one! Awesome job
on the flesh tones and helmet cover! Thanks for sharing your work!

Afternoon Peter

Another successful upgrade and suitably chilled too with the redder palette.

The greens look good too a really broad mix but they all complement each other and look well suited to support the frozen face.

I guess the retreads will be getting thin on the ground soon?

Hopefully another victim has landed on your bench

Have a good day with the paints

Regards

Steve H

Brock - Glad you like him. Thanks for looking in.

Steve - Hi, and thanks for the kind words. I have one re-tread bust left to do, but boxes full of 1/16 and 120mm figures, so it's probably time to move down in scale. It's quite a while since I did a full figure, so some practice is needed......

Hi Peter

Another nice repaint there , do like the cold fleshtones ,the cut on cheek and the uniform greens

Cigarette ..nice touch

Thanks for sharing

Happy benchtime

Hi Nap - Very enjoyable to paint this one. I think I've improved on the previous paint job.

Carl - Many thanks.
