Nice job - the face is excellent. My only comment is that the texture on the shoulder strap equipment looks like it is maybe intended to be painted as leather? Could be my eyesight if course.

This is a really nice piece. My only concern is the dark radiating lines around the eyes are a little heavy handed. I think if you push the tone back a bit it would look better.

If you're talking about unloading , the soldiers of the African case, it was mostly made of tarpaulin
