Hi all,

Hereby my current project.
It another buste from Young Miniatures which is beautiful sculpted and has an excellent boxart.

I've painted the fase in the base and started the blending. I have a long way to go but here is a first glimp.

I'm very happy with the eyes.

alle painted with Vallejo acryl (various skin tones with some English uniform, Carmine red, violet and olive drab for the tones)

I hope you like it. Constructieve feedback is more than welcome

Hi Martín

Great to see your benchtime, a good subject choice and a nice start , I like the eye position , the flesh tones work well ...is that a scratch you've painted on the left cheek

Following with interest

Happy benchtime

Thank you all. A bit back and forward with the skintones. I messed up (his) right side and had to correct it. I tried to blend it with small dots but end up using glazings. Still have some work to do.

I started the wool sweater and the blue cobert.

It is not as fine as I wanted but here it is anyway

Hi Martín

I like the way the flesh looks .....at any distance ! .....nice highlights

The leather helmet is getting there , sure you will do more , paintings not made easier by its position

Sometimes a piece I do seems to fight me !

Looking forward to seeing more

Happy benchtime

Some shades with the base with the addition of olive drab
Added as a wash and some glazing

The next step is adding some texture with dry mud and stencil (vallejo)
And some red lining in the middle
(The lowest parts)

I painted some parts green for the contrast
