Man, that painting REALLY brought this figure to life! (y) (y) The sculpting was really good but the painting.........WOW :eek: is a nice word. Pretty much sums it up for me.

A great figure and I second Jim's comment on the painting. I really like the weathered look of the skin, complete with little cuts here and there.~Gary
 
That's amazing painting. I don't recall when I last saw leather look that good in paint - it really looks real. The face is striking too, reckon this guy was the roman equivalent to a sergeant-major!
