Hello guys
This is my 1st attempt painting large scale figures.
It's the classic roman centurion bust by Young Miniatures.
By now i've completed the torso.

Any comments/suggestions will be appreciated.

I've continued painting the face.
I'm using acrylics - andrea flesh paint set
(1st time ever painting LS busts, so i've chosen the "easy" way .)

In general i'm pleased with the result, but i think it can be improve even better.
I'll appericiate any suggestions ...

Simon

Andrea's flesh set contains very warm colors. You will want to introduce some cool shades of blues (mixed with your shadow tone) to create a nice looking shadow. He has those cheek guards so you have a lot of area to experiment on that will be covered by them.

BTW-Looking good so far.

Looking good so far.
I should shade more on the cheeks and as Mike said more coler shades will do some more work then the shade you have done now.
Maybe blocking in the face first before you go further. I mean, painting the darker shade of the beard.

Almost finished.
I need to paint the necks ribbon and do some minor corrections in the armour plates.
Hope you'll enjoy ...
