Yu Fan Models? Does anybody know?

Dear Planeteers!

Does anybody know the Chinese manufacturer "Yu Fan Models" an can say something about the quality of their 1/35 figures?

Their themes (Chinese Peoples Liberation Army, North-Corean and Vietnam soldiers) are not uninteresting, I think.

Hi Martin,

I've just seen your post so I thought I'd chime in.

I picked up this set...

... a while ago, and I was very impressed. The sculpting and casting are of a very high standard (nice & crisp), and they'll require little to no clean-up. The level of detail is very nice, and the folds & creases in the uniforms look spot on. Anatomically they are very sound, with everything in proportion.

They measure out at 50 - 52 mm from the base of their feet to the tops of their headgear, so pretty much right for 1/35 I'd say. They are cast in pale grey resin.

One last thing I would add is that in my opinion, the box art doesn't do them full justice. I mention that because it might put some guys off. The overall quality of the figures is much better than the box art would suggest.

Although I can only comment on the set that I have, on that basis I'd definitely say "buy with confidence".

Hi,

Bouncing back on the thread, it looks like they are also doing resin figure which look amazing, although I'm not clear on which brand release them (YuFan, Coollo, NK Models) ??
Looks like you can find them on Aliexpress, but I somewhat fear to use this website...
