Hi Guys this is my first finished figure of 2010 and my first attempt at a black skin tone. All painting in oils with a limited palette of five colours. The groundwork utilised the gnarled wood of the base blended in with Milliput. Having problems with my camera so excuse the poor photos.

Thanks Guys for all your very encouraging comments.This was a very enjoyable figure to paint and something very different for me.Now onto something new ,will hopefully have some in progress photos soon once I can decide what to do. Hi John would love to come to the Dublin show if possible.
