Hi all

Thought I'd start this WIP off as I am in medal mode..lol

Of course it's the sculpt by Offo

Here's the picture , a fine likeness for sure IMG_1439.JPG

Thought I'd do something a bit different so I reworked the medals a bit ( still to add the laurel leaves on the LOH )

I had to rework the collar on mine as well

Using these pics as references , painting will bring things out more !

Kev,
There is a Tomb of the unknown soldier badge but I don't think the wording placing is the same. I think it is of American origin.

Brill ....that certainly looks like it might be very similar ....in this scale the overall impression will work

Harry is based up and primed .......he might jump to the front before Prince Philip

Couple of pics I am using

From Wiki

On 7 January 2008, Albert II, King of the Belgians, conferred upon Patch the award of Knight of the Order of Leopold.

He received the award from Jean-Michel Veranneman de Watervliet, Belgium's Ambassador to the United Kingdom, at a ceremony in the Ambassador's residence in London, on 22 September 2008, which coincidentally was the 91st anniversary of the day he was wounded in action and three of his closest friends killed.

The Belgium equivalent to LOH I believe..love the ribbon colour

Of course... Belgium uses a very similar lion rampant as the Netherlands. Makes sense aswel, seeing as the Dutch weren't really involved in WWI... doh...
