Hi guys,

My current WIP. Not a commission, just for me! The Morgan is a Minicraft kit which I found on facebook marketplace, but unfortunately, the bodyshell was missing, so I scratchbuilt one. Not too bad to do, as Id intended to change the body of the kit from a barrel-back to a boat-back, anyway!

The two figures are in my usual Milliput over a wire armature and will represent a pilot and his WAAF companion. Still much to do, but I was assisted by being able to photograph an actual example in Woodhall Spa, last weekend!

Thanks for looking(y)

Hi Steve

This is going to be a lovely very piece of modelling , always good to your sculpting

I've been following the way you did the actual vehicle sharing ......very interesting and great result

Can I ask why RAF ?

what other options did you consider ?

Is the project based on any pictures ?

Look forward to seeing more

Happy sculpting

Hi Nap,

Originally the idea was based on my uncle and aunt who met during the war. My uncle was a navigator, attached to the RCAF and my aunt was in the Land Army and the car that he had was an MG P-type Midget. As I couldn't find a suitable car kit, I stumbled on this and the idea grew from that. The two occupants are based on the Battle of Britain film, but won't depict those characters!!

They are looking great, amazing how small those old MGs were. This will be a wonderful model when you are done.

Hi Steve

Good to see the updates , interesting to follow this project .....good start on the faces

Are they having helmets on or will the hair be flying in the wind with the speed of the MG ?

Looking forward to seeing more

Have FUN @ the bench

Thanks guys. It's a Morgan, not an MG! Three wheels instead of four! In my experiences in a convertible, your hair gets blown forward, not back, because of the vortex over the windscreen! However, the days of my hair getting blown about are long gone....!!

Superb work so far. A lovely idea for a vignette as well. And don't worry, I know the difference between a Morgan and an MG......;)

that is nice too see how the evolution is from a face in sculpting, that is
nothing for me,but it's going to be nice when done

Had the good fortune of seeing an actual Morgan 3-wheeler on the streets of Scranton, Pennsylvania of all places. Very cool vehicle - I want one! Beautiful work so far, Valiant.
