Funny thing happened today, I read this thread waiting in the car to pick my daughter up from work and deliver my Granddaughter to her rightful keepers! On the way back driving past the Farnborough airfield a car looking awfully much like those pictured here was going in the opposite direction. Now I grant that to me cars come by size and colour, but how many two seater 3 wheeled sporty cars are there. We'll I thought it was interesting anyway.

Cheers Simon

hi folks, some more progress on my driver and passenger for the 1935 Morgan. Faces pretty much done, aiming for early wartime hairdos!(y)

Hi Steve

This is looking great love the detail on the car clever and patient puttywork

Liking the hairstyles though must have been interesting to get in and out !

Looking forward to seeing more

Happy priming

Wonderfully nostalgic modelling. It must have been a bit of a squeeze for two, but I suppose in mixed company that was a significant part of the attraction!

Looks great, I've heard about polishing larger scale car kits but not sure I understand the process. What paints do you use and why polish and not use a gloss paint?

Cheers Simon

Hi Simon, this is painted in Halfords Ford Ivory from a rattle can. Ill flat it down with 3200 Micro Mesh, then give it a polish. It gets rid of the inevitable slight orange peel.(y)

Ah I see, thanks for that as I've wondered on and off for a long while about the polishing.

Cheers Simon
