On the last minutes of 2024 I have finished the painting work on the very nice bust from Alexandros, marechal Mortier. An amazing piece!

I really like this, especially the gold braid work on the draped jacket and the sleeve ends, along with the silver cross / medal [apologies for my terminology, with a Napoleonic figure on its way I shall have to 'brush up' and get my act together in this area!!]. Any suggestions on a good book for the Napoleonic era [with illustrations]......whatever the cost?
Saved for later referal...a real inspiration for me, thanks.
