A Fixture
hello everyone ,
here's two more grenadiers from the Soissonois Regiment finally completed.
I spent a great deal of time changing the Crimson and trying different mixes,so it took me a while to complete.
As for the Gaiters i decided to try the Panzer aces German camo white as a base,and use the vallejo grey and black washes for shadows.
As for the Crimson,always many interpretations on this color, i've tried some citadel colors on one of the cuffs to try it out.
Mixes as follow :
Crimson Facings :
1- base = Vallejo Game color "Gory red" ,dab of Andrea basic Red and dab of Andrea Crimson.
Lights = Base + light orange ,final lights added a little bit of white to the mix.
Shadows= Base + black
crimson 2
1- Base = Citadel Mechrite red
Lights = Base + Vallejo Magenta + orange-red ,last lights added white to the mix.
Shadows = Citadel Carroburg Crimson shade (only) ,i find this to be the greates thing ever for shadowing crimson,already watered down and ready to use stright from the bottle.
For other parts of the uniform mixes please go to the prior posts .
Cheers
