Hi Folks, it's been a while since I contributed something, so here we are!
I've been working on this one for a while now, it's nowhere near finished but, I thought I'd post just to keep you all updated.
It's a vignette on the theme of three SS men taking refuge in a ruined church at the height of the Ardennes offensive. I tried to make the expressions on their faces reflect the fact that there was a 'no prisoners' order in effect with regards to SS and Paratroops.
So, here's where I'm up to so far..
The church ruin was carved from a slab of crystacast plaster. This sets like rock and is a nightmare to carve.
I'll update as soon as I get time.
