My one observation or critique of this figure is the way he's sculpted to be holding the axe ....... At that angle, being gripped so far down the shaft he must have an arm like Popeye!

Great work, John, I like specially some details like the tone of the blood in the sword, and the the effect of cropped hair and beard. (Originaly the figure is totally shaved) . As others said you have made an effective work with the base.
