Hi Guys ,

I wanna tell you a story ...many moons ago my good friend did a bit of work on this Amati bust as I fancied painting it holding the hawk mascot ...so.....

Arm added ..great job

Hawk sourced ....good 'un

Update...

Now all primed except the bird ...as I have lost it .....it's flown his nest , Jimbo has a 1/16 th bird but need to check this out with the bust as its 1/10th ...might work?

Has any one got a hawk in the spares box that might be suitable ?

I will post WIP pics soon

Happy modelling

Enjoy your day chaps, I do hope Jimbo is fit enough to travel?

Piccies of your trophies and awards would be good too.

Good luck with the chicken, the French national soccer
mascot is freely available now he's banned from the Euro Championships BTW.

Got a bit carried away with the painting , uniform all done , glove all done , badges all done , headwear painted in white ...just pattern to put on ...Yikes!!!!

Then the face ..then that darned chicken ...

It does look better in real life!!!

This is looking splendiferous Kev.

I really envy you the upcoming opportunity to paint so many straight lines so closely together on this shemag.....honest :)

Could you use the 'Sherlock Holmes Tweed' painting technique on that?
Paul

Hi Paul,

Thanks it will look good ..spent nearly 2 hours lining the design in to find it was too wide ..so off it came and now repainted the White ...oh how I wish they used white for undress !

The actual design is not squares but angled diamonds ..think I might be going for the overall effect !

Watch ths space
