Great painting as could be expected from Señora Saavedra. As for the veracity of the bust, see the discussion here http://www.planetfigure.com/threads/la-rÉsistance-by-pf-works.78643/. The link to the Fernandez blog is referring to a fiction movie, absolutely NOT to historical facts!

Thanks for the link. It is a nice piece, and one that I'd consider buying.

However, I'd just paint her up as a Luftwaffe auxiliary. I think the "Resistance" link would be lost on most people ("if you have to explain it ....")
