I am painting it with both acrylic and oil using whichever paint suits my purpose the best for a particular area.
I don't usually like painting in sub assemblies if I can help it but as he is in the process of aiming his musket it's essential to leave the right arm, musket and left hand off till later to paint the details.

I saw that too Steve. It's a beauty, as are all the previous YS Masterpieces Greek War of Independence busts.

Like Lord Byron I feel it is my duty to assist our Greek friends, in my case going on holiday there, eating Greek food, drinking Greek drink and buying and painting Greek figures.
