As its Easter thought I would share a few iffy pics of the head ..going back later to redefine a few areas , then the hair to be done .

You should add KP to the front.

Do you have any refs for them having GR on the cap front?
If not I'd leave it as it is.

Im with Paul, If you have ref add but if not leave as it is . Its not exactly issue kit.

Watching this WIP I have remembered to have a figure in 28 mm that could be him ... I then pulled out of the drawer and I primed.
waiting for the paint to dry, I looked for pictures and of course I found this.
Now the question is this, considering that the painting is trusted ... which version do? green or blue?

Yes, yes and yes again and for good measure, even if it isn't historically accurate, it also needs Nec Aspera Terrent on the front.
I also think you should buy another one and paint it blue!

As for adding the GR ...show me a ref and it shall be done ......oh master of the waves.or is that "Neptune Roger".....I feel for you with the letters ....no hnestly I do ..keep looking at mine in the GA !!!

Beb ...believe it or not struggling a bit on the hair! ..but will get there! ...I am pleased with the whole thing at the moment ! ....

Keith ....thanks mate ...yep all teeth intact .....pleased with the mouth ...going for a contrasting hair colour

Strange as it may seem Kev I must enquire as to your mix for the ivories Kev.
I am working on a cycling piece with grimaced face and gritted teeth. No matter what I try I cannot get that Blue/ grey opalescence. PLEAS HELP!

If you are reworking your teeth then let putty go hard!
I used a Lt gray with a wash of burnt umber followed by diluted ivory on edges ..no pure white !
A slight wash of paynes gray is another option
Unless your cyclist is sponsored by a toothpaste company no teeth are sparkling white ! ..apart from mine in the morning ..lol
Currently reworking the hair on Roger ..fitted the head and just didn't look right for some blooming reason ...the air is very blue at the moment ..currently on 3 Valium a minute!

That strange colour change on the assembly has caught me out a good number of times. A right sickener when you spend a lot of time thinking you have it spot on.

For me it's best not to overwork the teeth ..unless it's a catwalk model!
Fear not all is well just looked at it he will now have a fuller head of hair !
Oh the joys and hopes of modelling ..lol

Mmm I was surprised that I had not seen the Nap final twist in tail and here it is.
I bet that had another glance at those Wee Kiltless Laddies and went into one with the putty.
Love what it looked like before the beard. I am sure that if you think extra facial additions are needed it will only enhance the piece Kev.
