Now finished, this is my take on the Chota Sahib figure.
I have painted him as a Suffolk soldier as this is part of my old Regiment.
Thank for looking in. All painted in acrylics.

He looks as if he is leaning to the right a bit, probably on the lash the night before.

Great job. Love the Victorian soldier. Cut my teeth on the Chota Sahib range. Would love to find their Mess kit range.

Thank you Ventress, I too like the range and they can still be found on e-bay. Managed to get one tonight for £8.50. again another to compliment this one.

Hi Bob

Another triumph from your brush , classic figures from CS .

Is that a DCM I see on his chest and a "scout" badge on his arm ?

Like the uniform red as well

Thanks for sharing

Nap

Excellent job!

cheers,
Pierre

Beautiful , very nice piece

Mobo

Nap, thank you and well observed, you are correct on both counts.

Pierre, thank you, you are very kind.

Mobo, thank you, I very much appreciate your kind words.

Very nice work Bob.
I've painted one of these (as a "Royal Warwickshires" scout), but mine has a distinct lean forwards.

Cheers,
Andrew
