Hello Planeteers,
I have been waiting quite sometime to get this figure, i am switching jobs and little time to work on my beloved miniatures but decided to take few hours to work on this likely Lad.
I have seen reviews on this figure from.Carrano, i believe there are few areas that have been critisized, Especially the head and face expression , i particularily did not like the original head and replaced it with a spare head of the no longer and dissapear JMD miniatures thst i jad on another figure that did not make it to the glorious stand of figures lol.
So, here we are, with a much nicer face and typical french snobby officer air.
This lad will with a Scottish noble officer in French Service of the Regiment Royal Ecossais around 1740/1750.
Cheers

Hi Daniel

Great to have you posting your work as always good to see , like the replacement head and clean artwork on the flesh

As always your attention to the uniform details are interesting and shows your knowledge of the period

Looking forward to seeing the flag being painted with the folds

Following with interest

Thanks for sharing

Nap

PS Hope new job is going well

Thanks mate, Flag will be a challenge :)

Wow Daniel, those subdued base colour tones, as Kev said, look realistic for a battle-weary Ensign.
He will be a real beauty if you can pull them onto the finished figure.
Keep up the superb work here Mate.
Cheers
Keith
