We are the owners of the former Chota Sahib figure range and former Sarum Studio Figurine Ranges. These figure and kit ranges in two scales, 54 MM and 90 MM were purchased by us BEFORE 2010. And have remained under our legal ownership ever since.
We have invested and added to the Business over the intervening years, ready to sell the products for retirement income in Europe .
We purchased the complete ranges from Patrick J D Willis before 2010 and have absolute copyright and design ownership which is also officialy documented, of all of the figures. Max Chevallier is a sculptor and Mould pattern maker and trained in Norwich England in Mould making, lost Wax Casting, Cermaics and Master figurine sculpting and creating.
The range is being re issued from France and from Max Chevallier own workshop only, and by us the Legal owners, in stages, and some items will remain limited edition.
We wish to supply genuine retailers or customers
However, there has been a "problem".
It has come to our attention recently that a UK based operator has been engaging in illegal copyright infringement and selling Piracy products under the name "STUDIO MODEL DESIGNS" which is in fact a forme retailer of ours based in FROME UK who we used to supply our proucts to for sale only. After non payment of a four thousand pound plus invoice, we refused to trade with Frome model centre any longer. There was aftewards a violent robbery in France by English foreign criminals, who stole a number of copie and spare moulds from a depot in Southern France, and several vehicles were smashed up beyond repair and Mr Chevallier was violently attacked and beaten up.
A number of those responsable come in fact from England and One particular man was English and has over 140 previous convictions for robbery burglary and drugs offences. Several names connected to this sordid business turn out to be former serving UK Soldiers.
We have experienced a series of threats, violent attacks on ourselves and our property and home in France and have made a Police Gendarmerie complaint and investigation into the whole affair.
In addition to the violence, and threats we have receved to have us killed and hunted by associattes of the gang (A Britsh group made up of old British soldiers and ex patriots hiding in France) various other goods and effects were stolen both from our vehicles and our home at the time.
We have as a direct result of the violence robbery and break ins, PLACED AN EMBARGO on all exports of our figures to mainland England (excluding Ireland Scotland and Wales)
As a resut, and in punitive measure for this dreadful experience, former CHOTA SAHIB and Sarum Studio Figurine Ranges featuring Modern British Forces figures shall be priced higher than in previous years to recover damages.

A REWARD IS BEING OFFERRED FOR INFORMATION LEADING TO AN ARREST AND SUCCESSFULL CONVICTION OF THOSE INVOLVED IN THE THEFT ILLEGAL TRANSPORTATION AND ILLEGAL PIRACY RE CASTINGS OF OUR PRODUCTS. AND THE COMPLETE RETURN OF ITEMS STOLEN FROM US . UNLESS AND UNTIL THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED PRICES WILL BE PUNITIVE.
