    The Goalkeeper

I started a new job and haven't sculpted or painted in months and months. As a result, I stopped reading most of the forums regularly. Just cyclic, I guess. I'll come back to things eventually, I hope. I'll say the same basic thing here that I said elsewhere since you brought it up. I...

    Protar Bicycle Kits

Anyone know who might still carry carry these? A friend of mine is looking for a particular 1/9th scale kit that was made in the 1970s, and I told him to try Ebay, but he's had no luck yet... so if anyone knows of dealer who still has them in his stock or collection, let me know! Thanks...

    SCULPTING 101 STEP BY STEP

I've decided for the time being to move onto another project, but that's a good idea - I have all this Sculpey just lying around that I haven't done anything with in months. And the hard part of mixing it with the black FIMO is already done! Man, my hands hurt for two days after that...

    SCULPTING 101 STEP BY STEP

These trousers are turning out so nice Gary! I'm working on a similar leg pose but with pants of an entirely different material/style (much thinner materials with tighter wrinkles) and mine look like garbage... I've been about ready to give up on them in fact. I'd benched them for now...

    New figure pt2

Nice Stephen - what I really like are the face and helmet. The expression will convey a lot when painted up. Francesca

    Hockey Sculpts

David: I had investigated wedding tooling - do you know how expensive that stuff is?!? Jeez... now I know why veils costs so much. Yikes. I think I'm going to use this stuff http://www.activaproducts.com/products/scu...re/wiremesh.htm from Activa Products. It's wire mesh to be used as an...

    Hockey Sculpts

Patrick: Thanks very much. I, unfortunately, have been too busy lately to do a SBS-type posting, but I hope to at least post pictures when the newest figures I'm working on are further along. Francesca

    Figurebase for Woodland Indian

Markus, that's beautiful - I'm very impressed with how it turned out! Francesca

100mm wip pit fighter thingy :)

You know Midwest Clay is now making it in grey, right? No more mixing required. :) Francesca

    SCULPTING 101 STEP BY STEP

The SS is still "wet" at this time, right? I imagine it'd be a lot harder to work a second leg if the first is not solid, no? I mean, I know sculptors do it all the time, but usually they're working on larger scale figures. I recently started a figure where I started both legs at the same...

That's different and cool. Looking forward to seeing more! Francesca

    SCULPTING 101 STEP BY STEP

I was looking forward to this part of the SBS - I *hate* sculpting shoes. (I used to hate sculptin ears, but honestly, since I read Gordy's SBS on that topic, it's much easier.) Francesca
