Thanks for all the kind words, guys. More pics soon, but here's one of it before primer with the base which will give you a better idea of how the pose works in conjunction with the base. Cheers, Stephen
Been a helluva long time since I've done a historical piece, but here's one getting close to complete. It's a 54mm one-off based on a uniform study from Troiani of a private in Lee's Partisan Legion in 1779. Hope y'all like him. Cheers, Stephen
Have a couple pieces I've decided to sell, one 120mm bust and a 54mm figure- they were a great catharsis for me when I made them but I think I've finally arrived at the point where I would rather see them go to a collection which will get some enjoyment out of them. Shoot me a PM if you're...
Couple new projects. The first one is for my good buddy who was using the figures of him and his partner for his proposal; the other is a shadowbox for my mother in law of her mom in the 40's, a gift at Christmas this year. Hope y'all enjoy. Lemme know what you think.
You did an accurate version. I wore this uniform quite a few years back and mine were all pretty faded; some had the slight pink tone to the sand base color, a couple pairs were more towards the off-white side. Nicely done bro!
I can't take much of the credit here, because Pete is the one who did a brilliant and creative job painting this simple little bust. He's the one who took it and turned it into something great. Nicely done sir.
