Howdy all,
Just thought I'd post my latest completed piece. Stephen Ward sculpted the bust and sent it up to me for painting, which was an honor and pleasure to do. I am constantly looking for something different to paint or sculpt, and this fit the bill perfectly when he showed me in progress pics on his end. Every picture I have seen for reference on appearance of actual sadhus are unique, so I combined a few looks of what I thought worked best for him. Painted in acrylics and mounted on a homemade spalted maple base. Thanks for looking and I appreciate any feedback. Cheers!

You're quite lucky I would love the opportunity to one of Stephen's sculpts. The turned out very nicely. I think the color scheme is spot on.

I can't take much of the credit here, because Pete is the one who did a brilliant and creative job painting this simple little bust. He's the one who took it and turned it into something great. Nicely done sir.

I still wouldn't mind collaborating with you some day. I have an idea that I think is right up your ally. And yes, Pete did do a great paint job, that one couldn't have been easy to paint.
