Nap, not only your painting is outstanding (love the details everywhere) but also, as i grew up in France, on Sword Beach to be precise, this one
reminds me of the Veterans i met during all those years, they still had the fire in their eyes when they were talking to us about their stories !

(i remember a british Vet recognizing a german one on 50th anniversary, they just felt in each other arms, the german was taken prisoner by the british ... they'd never seen each other since D-Day)
