Like the nice dark shade on his BD blouse Kev, & you’ve nailed the beret colour too.
Hi Chris
Thanks these are just basecoats , the uniform has washes of burnt umber arm
Currently have the veteran on bench working on flesh and then the blazer

Basecoat or not, the khaki still looks a really good shade & with some highlights it’ll really pop.
And as for the beret colour, Daphne du Maurier would have been proud of the shade of maroon you’ve mixed
(I take it you know that story, being the encyclopaedia of background research that you are.....)
He's looking very good Nap.
Excellent Nap. I like the addition of the lanyards, and I might borrow your idea of adding something to the back of the bust..
I notice that you've gone the opposite from me, hiding the buttons and keeping the pleats
Is it my eyes, or does the cap badge look a bit to big, and the wings a bit too short? I'm only mentioning it because I know you're a perfectionist and dont mind doing something over to get it right.
You certainly have given me a benchmark to aim for with mine..
Cheers
Henk
