Thanks for the encouragement :)

Here is the helmet again, I cleaned it up a bit and made it closer to the shape it needs to be. Decided not to do the edges so thin this time before drilling it out.

Here is the drilling part

Was more careful this time and was really nervous around the edges :) I did a little first though (first pic) then got braver and finished it (second pic) . Once it was drilled out I rubbed it with a little scotch brite held in a set of tweezers. Can still use a little more polishing though, hard area to get to though!

Overall it looks pretty good. You've done a nice job with the symmetry. The "dome" looks a little high to me. I would like to see it in the round.
 
Hey John,

I also think it is a little tall, and also a little steep in the front, should be slighly more slope. Will work on it some more :) I'll show it to you next time we get together :)
