Wow...my friend John Brewer said it best...very, very nice...
Can't wait to see you paint him up...will you use acrylics?
All the best

Stephen

Wonderful to see him finished, very nice work.
As Gary says, the rifle is a work of art in itself!

Thanks guys fopr the response. It helps after 6 weeks of mind busting over this one. I'll try to answer some questions. Sorry to dissappoint you but this figure will not go on the market ( even though if I ask my clients tehy would probably let go of a few ). It is a master for a branch of the Italian Carabinieri and most of them will be cold casted. But I want to paint one nonethe less. If I do it will be in acrylics. Just don't know when !!
The figure represents an Italian Carabiniere MSU ( Multinational Support Unit ) in actual service in Iraq and it's in 120mm. It was mainly sculpted in MS and some Duro (y)

Stephen, I think it's beautifully done. Wonderful detail especially the weapon. I'm also impressed with the boots and assault vest.

One thing I wonder about; The weapon seems a little out of scale to the figure. Forgive my ignorance of the weapon, but is this a regular 7.62 assault rifle, or a squad level machine gun? If it's the fromer, the receiver seems too bulky. If the latter, maybe not.

John Thanks for your compliments. Well the weapon is the Beretta SCP 70/90. It measures more than a metre in real life so one can judge from there
