Hi to All

To end the year we will be running 2 x 6 week long comps this being the second from 16/11/22 to 31/12/22

Enter your model into this months STANDARD class ( Closes Midnight BST 31/12/22 )

Members to decide which class to enter but Admin can move after consulting

Max of 1 full image with up to 5 additional thumbnails ( members can click on to view larger )

Hello, here is my entry.
SGF soldiers british sub Roman cavalryman, 90mm white metal. Finished this one last year. All painted in acrylics from vallejo, citadel and andrea colours. Snow on the base is made with andrea artificial snow.

My entry: 'Incoming Mail'
1/35 scale full scratchbuild with aftermarket parts.
Finished in acrylics from various manufacturers.
Figure made from 2-part Apoxie Sculpt putty on a wire armature.
Head from Jon Smith Modellbau.
Hands and boots from Royal Models.
Pigeons from Miniart.
Pigeon basket is a 3D print from Chino Model.
Roadside shrine and Christ figure from Historex Models.
Tree stump from spares box.
Vegetation from AK, Geek Game Scenics, Green Stuff World.
Rust and moss effects from Dirty Down acrylic effects wash.

My entry for this month's FOTM will come as no surprise for anyone who was following my posts on this rather grand chap in the WIP and Completed Figure sections.
Granted it's not much of a nameplate, but it's the best I can do for the time being...:cool:

54mm white metal casting from Phoenix Miniatures.
Painted with acrylics.
The sword, axe, shield, treasure chest and raven are from my spares box.
Ruined scenic accessory is by Reality in Scale.
Wooden base was from Ronaldo some years ago.

Hi everyone, Here's my entry.

Title: Viking Raider, circa 950AD
Manufacturer: Assorted manufacturers - DID, Dragon, CooModels
Scale: 1/6
Materials ( paints etc ) used: Acrylic and enamel washes.
Conversion details : Major reworking and modifications to the Dragon shield, with handpainted symbol in acrylics on a simulated rawhide woodfiller basecoat; then gouged and slashed for battle damaged effects. Rawhide trim on shield's rim with scratchbuilt studs on front and back of shield. Scratchbuilt handgrip with leather carrying strap. All fabric garments were painted and distressed with acrylic paint. Waist belt with slide scabbard suspension was scratchbuilt from leather as was the viking money pouch. Weapons were painted and weathered in acrylic and enamel washes. Headsculpt was repainted with layered acrylic tints on a basic colour basecoat. Thereafter when dried and sealed, hair, braids and beard was rooted by hand. Wooden base built-up with air-dried putty, sand, white-glue and scratchbuilt grass painted in acrylics.
