Excellent subject, Herr Markgraf! I have some woodland Indians in the stash for some French-and-Indian War displays but haven't tackled painting them yet. What is the Vallejo color you have in the earlier photo, for your skin color mix?

I have ued a mix of Tallarn flesh ( citadel)and a dab of Vallejo Brown, later added a little bit of burnt red.

I can't wait to see your FIW figures!

Groundworks done, may need to fix here and there but virtually done.
For the huron i used a mix of basic red and burnt red for half of the face, lower portion of the face i used Vallejo German grey.

That looks good againt a natural back drop and the Huron fella is looking nice. Making the face paint look right must be quite taxing.

The Huron is coming along nicely ......reckon it’s all in the design but on this scale I reckon your definately challenged ....lol
