Hi Matt

Cracking update on the green lady and the other , liking the way you've painted the hair on both and the 'clothing'

Your doing yourself a lot of credit with such nice results on such a big project

Pleasure to follow

Have fun and looking forward to seeing more

Happy benchtime

PS Wish I'd watched more Star Trek !

Hi Matt

Nice updates on these 2 , do like the textures and painting on the clothing ....love the shirt

Like the difference in skin tones ....but suppose they would be as ones from another planet !

Thanks for sharing

Have fun @ the bench

And the crew is close to done. I need to take a break for a few days and come back to them all with fresh eyes for final details. Working out the display plan now. Also considering adding some osl. It could either ruin them or take them to the next level. Thoughts? Seventeen busts in just over thirty days. I’m pooped!

Superb, that is a real achievement, they are great.
Personally I think not to the OSL. It works in some circumstances when there is a defined and visible source point but without an origin for the light it is just a strangely coloured figure.

Struggling with ideas for a display shelf that puts these together without taking up a ton of space. Thought about a 3D Chess board, but too big; also considering an easel of sorts shaped like the delta chest insignia with shelves across it. Any ideas out there in the PFverse?

I like the insignia-shaped-shelf-thing-idea.
Alternatively, how about combining your chess board and shelf idea? Gene Rodenberry can be on the top, shelf below the crew of the enterprise, shelf below the other characters. Each of the shelfs made up of dark and light squares AND each lower shelf protruding from the higher shelf. You can use some reflective tape behind the figures to show off all sides without having to turn anything?

Hi Matt

No wonder your pooped ! ......what a massive project and WHAT a result

I personally wouldn't do OSL as Rob says

Couple of good suggestions ref base ...so looking forward to seeing what you decide ....either way it's going to be a big g basework !

Happy basing

Amazing work and an absolute no to OSL from me. You could ruin all this hard work. I agree with Rob - OSL only works in a vignette or diorama where you have some context as to why the figure is not painted in a "normal" way.
