Back again brothers to let you know where some of that information that I have gleaned from
you has been going. The first century of First Empire art and the research on this has been a dream. 50 artists, both multinational and chronological for the first time. It covers battle and maritime art, uniform studies and portraiture. Some artists were well known, others not so well. All ended up being fascinating individuals, about half of whom understood war and the era, since half of them participated in them as soldiers, correspondents, or court painters.

Step right up! Step right up! Time to get back in the saddle. Three more images, one artist. Anyone care to take a shot? The look to be
a series of chromos on the life of the Emperor.

Guess I could have said what the images depicted. Left to right - The Abdication, at Montereau, and Ratisbon.
