For acrylics, your colours look so well blended.

Chris, I used to paint solely with acrylics but got real tired with the constant mixin' and keepin' of colours for highlightin' and shadin' with. I can remember mixin' up upto six or seven subsequent shades of highlights in order to get a smooth transition of colour. :(
Then I found out about oils! :D

Acrylics suit me better and I find very difficult to paint with oils.I use them though for some effects.
 
Just a wonderful piece. I admire the entire piece but and just knocked dead by the leather! I think that if one were to see only the coat from the rear, they would never know that they were looking a a painted representation of a leather coat! If you ever feel like doing an SBS on leather wor, I would love to see it. You even capture the difference in the textures of the leathers between the coat, belt work and holster! Wonderful work
