Hey Willlem great work here mate. The attention to detail is to be admired!
If I can wade in on the 'left hand' debate...
I do like the fact that you were willing to listen to critiques and make changes, and what I have seen here is that not only the thumb is mispositioned as mentioned, but pay attention to the angle of each finger joint. Using your photo as a guide, note the line of the knuckles at roughly 5 or 6 o'clock, the the first joints line at about 9 o'clock, then the last joint line about 11 before the finger tips curl in, but some still pointing upwards.
Hope this helps, because regardless of whether it is a possible grip/stance whatever, if it looks wrong, then it is wrong as far as viewers/judges are concerned, if you know what I mean :D

Roger, thanks for your comments.
Brad, I certainly see what you mean and I'll look in to this. I've found the hands the most difficult of sculpting (guess a face is even more difficult) so I'll probably will try again

Jamie, thanks again for looking in, it's good to hear from different people if they like the steps I take or not (and why of course).
I'm sorry that there are no new things to show for my father is taken to hospital (heart-attack) and this stress isn't the best help during the sculpt so I'll put it on hold for a while.

Willem

Roger and Jamie, thanks for your kind words. I can tell you now that my father is awaiting surgery (by-pass) and for the rest he seems to be in excellent condition.
It takes longer than expected because in the weekend he got his attack there was a marathon in Rotterdam and 30 people were taken to this hospital with problems (all spectators).
They are helping those with the most worrying troubles first. We hope he'll be on the list for coming Friday.

Willem
