Hi All

This is the last piece that I have managed to get finished, I am working on other new figures which should be compleated in the next few weeks.

I'm not familiar with this figure, Tommi

Hi Tommi:

I hope you're feeling a lot better now, and sorry you were under the
weather. There are so many figures that I do not recall, if perhaps do not
remember the details about the figure, i.e. what scale is it. So could you
take a mo and give us newer members who are not so familiar with
your work, . . . a little more detail. I presume you hand painted all the
scroll work in the cape? Wow, great. And that color of blue is so rich and oh
so just right for this "upper class" nobleman. Lovely work,

rick

Hi Rick
Many thanks for your kind comments. The kit is by Romeo Models http://www.romeomodels.com/product_info.php?cPath=33&products_id=153
It is 75mm white metal. All the pattern/designs are painted in freehand oils, the rest of the figure is also painted in oils over the top of humbrols. This was a very enjoyable piece to paint but very time consuming with all the extra pattern work although the collector liked it very much so was worth the effort.
Yes I am on the mend now and taking it easy for a while which means extra painting time.(y)

Wow, Fast reply. . . thank you sir.

Tommi:

Thank you for the speedy reply, Tommi. I do appreciate it. So this was a
figure you did on commission. I'm sure the owner was very pleased.

Roger that, 75mm and "where for art thou, Romeo" . Thanks.

Re the scroll work on the cape, . . . you did it in Oils? . . . Whoa, Nellie. . .
impressive. I presume you thinned the oils somewhat for easier flow of
paint outa' some double zero brushes? Time consoming you said. OhMa'Gosh.
. . . ;) ;) I would think so. But so impressive. You really can get luxurious
colours with oils, big time.

You ARE an inspiration Tommi! Truly an inspiration!

Glad to hear you are on the mend!

Beautiful nobleman!!! A pleasure to look at!

MAny thanks to all for your kind words. I am now planning on starting the Pegaso figure in this range but not yet settled on a painting scheme. I will post photos of progress when I have some.

Cheers

Many thanks guys for your kind comment again.

A I have sold the Spanish nobleman, I am thinking of painting another over the Christmas period to keep for myself, what colour scheme to go for is something to think about:confused:

Cheers
