Malcolm,
Again, thanks for your encouragement. As you know Roy took many photos last week at our Group's monthly meeting and I think that his use of side reflectors has produced a better picture of 'Oikeus' [shown here], as he was using a 'full format' image on his camera. But I am glad you saw it 'in the flesh' and I hope that this and those produced by other 'new converts' to this hobby of figure modelling and painting, encourages you too, seeing that your help with advice and techniques seems to be reaping its rewards in furthering the 'outreach' of this hobby.
I have now decided that I enjoyed all the little areas of detail on this figure so much that my next one would be similar, but more up to date............the Nutsplanet - Ghost Company 'Exo Suit PMC' bust.

Nap,
Maybe I'll make this my new vBench article, rather than go back to show my 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th bust builds....they can be caught up later!
Regards,
Kim

Good morning Simon,
Yes, I think I will have to move to a 'slow march' [90ptm] on this one's detail.......but I am intrigued by the subject matter and detail required. Let's see how it goes.
Regards,
Kim

Un grand merci à chacun pour les commentaires donnés ici.
..... Demain soir, directement en préparation de notre concert de Noël en décembre et du Stabat Mater [Dvorak] en mars, tous deux dans la cathédrale... pas de repos pour les « méchants ».

I also really like classical music that I always listen to when I paint. I love Pergolesi's Stabat Mater, especially the version sung by Emöke Barath and Philippe Jaroussky is fantastic. You must know it, I give you the link just in case... I hope you have a nice time listening to them....;)

Bram,
I am so grateful that you brought this beautiful piece of music to my attention......I did not know of it before. The setting, orchestra and conductor were fine, but the two soloists were exceptional. I shall listen to this piece many times now and get to know it better.
Through the arts, my friend, many thanks.
Kim
