Just finished this piece from Verlinden.

Mainly for fun and to paint another face, however i tried to add some texture to the hat and the coat.... mixed results but whose counting :)

Scored some seams onto the coat and added button holes and a stretched sprue button.

:D

Great job Mark i really like what you have done with the face and the leather jacket, i have to say though that right ear is very distracting, not your painting mate but the way it was sculpted.

Mark, I was just admiring the leather jacket and skintones then read Steve's post  Steve you definately looked at that with your sculptors head on, well spotted mate. Excellent painting as usual, Mark what's after parallel painting... Triplex :D (y)

Cheers Ken

Hi Mark,

very neat painting.
The Iron cross seems real one, and the leather jacket are really nice(y)
Wich mixe´s you used to do the jacket?

Vonda Bar. Wonderful. Oh gee, if I could just paint a face like that. Your
rendering — and I'm repeating ma'seff here as I think of some of your other
work on faces — the way you show the hint of a beard, or the 5 o'clock
shadow as we say here in the Heartland, is so realistic. It definitely creates
for me, the illusive "illusion of reality". . . in miniature.

If I'm not careful and do not recognize the Kermit The Frog (famed for
Sesame Street Sports Broadcasting) syndrome; 'er being "green with envy"?,
I could indeed, feel that sense of envy. :p:p

Way to go, podna'!!! (y)(y)(y)

The Rickmeister-zinger. . . with apologies to Baroque Music
