Some time ago I discovered a series of comic books called " CRUSADES ".A new series of pencil drawn tales of the great crusades during the middle ages .
The authors used a mixture of history, fantasy and adventure to create a new world in witch the main characters are living .
The cover of one of the albums cought my attention and I used it as an example to create a new figure .
As always I used a mixture of milliput and green stuff for sculpting .
The arms are made from copper rod .
A lot of work got into the jewels. I used about everithing I could fiind .
Some are made of plastic tape ( the B . Horan way ) , metal foil , magic sculpt , etc ..
In the pictures I took , the knife ( oriental style ) the figure is wearing is made seperately and has to be fixed after painting .
The base is made from milliput and some natural rocks .

If you want to know more about these albums , check out the authors web site at :

Marc, superb sculpting, a beautifull looking figure and excellent work on the drapery.(y) BTW What scale is it in .

Cheers Ken

thanks

thanks for the reactions.
The scale is 1/32 .
The figure will be painted by a clubmember who has a touch for middel ages and fantasy .

Superb, Marc!

I trust that something this unique will go to a private collector instead of being commercially available?

Marc this is very nice and i really like the large flag/banner and the way you have draped it, very nicely done.
Fantasy female crusaders is a subject i have just recently been working on and it really gives you full freedom of what you do around a great subject, that of the Crusades.
I look forward to seeing the painted version.

As Mike already said, simple awesome. Oh my gosh. How can such a blood
thirsty female have a face that looks like "the girl next store" . . .

Incredible. So creative and artistic. Wow, what fun this figure would be to
paint. For one thing, since it is fantasy, obviously, you could pick any range
of colours that you like. . . . i.e. her face could be aqua, or violet or what
everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Whoa, Nellie,
