Hello, everyone.:)
I have completed a new figure.

GERMAN INFANTRY BATTLE OF BULGE (VERLINDEN 120mm)

I made the contrast of a figure quite strong this time.
And in blending as smooth as possible, TRY.

An acrylic gouache was used for basic painting.
Oil paints were used for painting of completion.
VALLEJO - COLOR was used for the camo
pattern.;)

I remember that the field picture in which 4 soldiers come out was a motif for this figure.

It was possible to be able to shower snow on the ground, but anyway I didn't do.

All comments welcome.:)

Excellent job Mitsutaka, the face is very well painted and the camoflague looks perfect. My only suggestion is to add some mud and dirt stains to the knees, as they look too white and clean.

Congrats! A terrific paint job.

Truth be told, Verlinden figures are quite plain and even lack-lustre in a world where you have Alpine, Young, and nearly a dozen other firms out there dedicated to bring out the best of figure art.

This particular kit being a relatively recent release (two years ago if memory serves) has very little to offer to the painter and viewer, in my opinion. It is then largely down to the skills of the painter. So the credits are all yours.

I am kinda curious your consistent preference over Verlinden kits, since it appears all you paint are Verlinden 1/16 figures. Could you kindly enlighten me as to why?

Big fan

amazing paint as usual.

Mitsutaka,

this new Verlinden release (based on a photo of Kampfgruppe Hansen) are gourgeous and you done a fantastic job on this soldier. Particulary, I like very much of the fleshtones and the peadot camouflage.
The cigar seems out of scale, but anyway, is very well reproduced(y)

Mitsutaka you did a great job on this one. You have a very unique painting style and presentation of your work. Well done.

Nice

Superb tone and very detailed. The eyes are magnificent.
My only concern is the cigarette is about the same size as an SS20. It kinda looks big even for a cigar.

Very nice job, Mitsutaka. I like the work on face painting. It looks you added a little bit different touch, I think, compared to your previous works. Especially I like the eyes.

Thank you very much, everyone.

Hi! Tony.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
I'm after a long time in the camo pattern, TRY.
First it didn't work.
However when VALLEJYO - COLOR was used, it was very effective.
I agree with you, too.
I think it was better to make a mess a little more.
Thank you for liking it.

Hi! Mike.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
I tried with painting use as politely as possible this time.
However when the picture was made big, I found a mistaken part.
While these are close, it'll be corrected.
Thank you for liking it.

Hi! Ngai.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment and question.
It's as you say.
I know other people not to paint a figure of VERLINDEN so much.
I think it can be pointed out that the price is a low price as one reason.
If it's 90mm figure of a white metal, it becomes high-price.
I'd like to paint 90mm figure of PEGASO and ANDREA very much, too.
In the near future, I, in those, TRY, it's promised.;)
Thank you for liking it.

Hi! Pedro.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
It's so, it was HANSEN.
I couldn't remember.
Thank you for telling me a valuable link.
It was my mistake perfectly about a cigarette.
A kit didn't contain these parts.
So I add by myself, but this was too thick.
Thank you for liking it.

Hi! John.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
I planted grass after a long time about a ground work.
I could sprinkle powder of snow from this top, but I decided to stop.
Thank you for liking it.

Hi! Dimitrios.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
The way of my coat is a little strange, so a I can't recommend you.
When you'd know such painting way also to exist, I'm happy.;)
Thank you for liking it.

Hi! Marc.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
There is a problem a little economically, so I can announce only a figure of a low price at present.
This state is improved in autumn, so I'd like also to paint and announce a figure of PEGASO and ANDREA at that time.;)
Thank you for liking it.

Hi! Ken.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
I'm sorry, I'm planning to paint a figure of a VERLINDEN again.
Thank you for liking it.

Hi! Grant.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
The details around the eye were deep, and this figure was carved.
Since I was concerned with an eye, so painting was easy.
I agree with you, too.;)
A cigarette was the over scale.
Thank you for liking it.

Hi! Carl.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
The next figure is also VERLINDEN like usual.
Thank you for liking it.

Hi! Kazufumi.:)
Thank you very much for your kind comment.
I think of your high value in an honor.;)
I painted though I thought I made the contrast strong this time.
This figure was a very good sculpting about an eye.
I'm also looking forward to progress of your figure.
Thank you for liking it.

Mitsutaka:)
